Withdrawals: what happens after you press request
Deposits are engineered to be effortless; payouts are where a platform reveals how it is actually run. This page describes the route a payout normally takes on the Betone platform, from the moment the request leaves your balance to the moment kroner appear in a Danish bank account, and it names the things that slow the journey down. Nothing here is a promise about a specific account — the binding rules are in the terms of the operator.
The three stages of a payout
Stage one is the request. The amount leaves the gaming balance and the status turns to pending, which simply means the finance desk has it and the payment provider does not yet. Stage two is the review: the request is checked against the verification file, against the payment method used for the deposit, and against any bonus that still carries an unfinished turnover requirement. Stage three is the transfer itself, and its speed belongs to the rail rather than to the casino.
That third stage explains most of the disagreement between marketing copy and reality. An operator can approve a payout in an hour and the player can still wait three days, because a card refund has to travel back through the card scheme and the issuing bank after approval. Neither party is at fault; the banking calendar simply does not care about weekends.
| Route | Typical minimum | Time after approval | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustly | from ~200 kr. | Same day to 1 banking day | Straight into the netbank account |
| Skrill | from ~200 kr. | Hours | Fastest of the traditional routes |
| Visa / Mastercard | from ~200 kr. | 1–3 banking days | Returned as a refund to the same card |
| Dankort | from ~200 kr. | 1–3 banking days | Handled through the Visa co-badge |
| Bank transfer | from ~200 kr. | 1–5 banking days | Highest ceilings, slowest clock |
| Bitcoin and other coins | from ~200 kr. in coin | Hours | Network fee applies, no reversal |
| MobilePay | — | Rarely offered for payouts | Usually a deposit route only |
| Paysafecard | — | Not available | Prepaid vouchers cannot receive money |
Indicative figures again. Danish public holidays, a bank on the receiving end and the size of the amount can all move them.
Verification, and why it belongs at the start
Licensed operators are required to know who they are paying, so identity documents are collected before money leaves the system. The usual set is a photo identification such as a passport or driving licence, a recent proof of address like a utility bill or bank statement, and something linking the payment method to the account holder. Danish players will recognise the logic from MitID, although international platforms rarely support it and fall back on uploads instead.
The only real choice you have is timing. Documents sent immediately after registration are reviewed while nothing is at stake; the same documents sent on payout day become the thing standing between you and your money. A sharp image with all four corners visible and no glare rarely has to be sent twice. This portal receives no documents at all — the exchange is strictly between the player and the operator.
What people mistake for a problem
Three situations account for most complaints, and none of them is unusual. A pending request that has not moved for a day is normal, particularly over a weekend. A payout returned to the deposit method rather than the account you preferred follows anti-money-laundering practice, not preference. And a bonus balance that cannot be withdrawn is behaving exactly as its terms describe, since an unfinished turnover requirement blocks the whole balance rather than only the bonus part. Our wagering page explains that mechanism in detail, and complaints covers what to do when something genuinely is wrong.
Frequently asked questions
How long should a payout realistically take?
Count the operator review and the banking leg separately. Approval on the side of the platform is often done inside a day for a verified account; after that an e-wallet or a coin transfer arrives within hours, a card refund takes one to three banking days, and a bank transfer one to five. Weekends and Danish public holidays are not banking days and simply extend the clock.
What does the pending status mean?
It means the money has left the gaming balance but has not yet been handed to the payment provider. During that window the request is matched against the verification file and against any recent bonus activity. Pending is a routine stage rather than a warning sign, and while a request is still pending it can usually be cancelled and returned to the balance — which is exactly why it is a good idea not to look at it.
Why is a proof of payment requested?
To confirm that the deposit came from a method belonging to the account holder. In practice this is a card statement, an e-wallet screenshot or a receipt from the payment service, showing the owner, the date and the amount. It protects the player against someone funding an account in their name, and the operator against chargeback fraud. Blurred or cropped images are the usual reason the check drags on.
Is there a minimum payout amount?
Almost always, and around 200 kr. is a common floor across the Danish market. The threshold exists because processing costs the same whether the sum is large or small, so micro payouts would be eaten by fees. Larger wins may be split into instalments under a monthly ceiling, and that ceiling is shown in the cashier next to each method.
